Clear Trust is a fundraising 501(c)3 organization that raises money for potential Crescent Lake or Crescent Lake watershed projects. CLEAR Trust provides a rapid response fund for the purposes of preventing and/or addressing an infiltration of exotic, toxic, or otherwise harmful species in our beloved lake.
The Crescent Lake Association is committed to preserving the beauty and health of our beloved lake. Our Lake Host Program is designed to prevent the spread of invasive species such as milfoil by educating boaters and inspecting watercraft at the boat ramp before entering the lake.
Volunteers at Crescent Lake participate in the NH Department of Environmental Services Volunteer Lake Assessment Program (VLAP), collecting water samples from various locations and depths several times each summer. These samples are Lab-tested and the results contribute to an annual water quality report.

Each June, a team of swimmers, spotters, and boat captains conduct the annual CLA “Milfoil Swim” to spot any potential outbreak of invasive plant species such as milfoil.

Cyanobacteria blooms can make people, pets, and wildlife sick. We are fortunate that Crescent Lake has not experienced any of these outbreaks, but several lakes in our area have. NH Lakes offers a comprehensive discussion of this important topic. Stay safe by knowing what to look for and how to respond.
Crescent Lake Association has engaged an environmental engineering firm to develop a Watershed Management Plan for Crescent Lake. This is a comprehensive effort to document the current health of the lake, identify potential threats to lake water quality, and recommend projects to address those threats.
In addition to Crescent Lake Association’s growing library of newsletters and other educational material, there is a wide variety of useful and interesting information available from the NH Department of Environmental Services, NH Lakes, and other lake associations.
